Meet our team

Bri Teague

Owner and operator - Main crafter and consultant. Experienced since 2007.

Personal Statement: I first began learning about this amazing craft in the late fall of 2006 as a means of coping with some hard-falls life had thrown my way. After a life of various crafts, starting with sewing at age seven, it was a natural transition of the multiple skills I had acquired over the years.

Since then, it has become a passion of mine to proudly supply family, friends, and the community with unique and custom pieces that were made completely by hand as the world has been become flooded with machine stamped blanks and mass produced reproductions that can be found around every corner.

Most importantly, as my health has twisted and turned into one unexpected challenge after another, it's a point of pride that I have been able to utilize my creativity and determination to not only adapt and change the way I do things to keep doing what I love, but also grow a deeper understanding of the need that those with disabilities, medical conditions and alternative body shapes or forms have. Being able to custom build to match whatever is needed, with genuine compassion and consideration has become my biggest point of pride. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, deserves to feel happy, safe and beautiful!

Lynissa McDonald

Novice crafter and lead promoter. Experienced from 2023.

Personal Statement: I grew up around leather work, but didn't start learning until 2023. I've learned a lot, but still have a long ways to go to reach where I want to be. I enjoy making fun and creative bags and pouches the most and look forward to the day when I can start making my own designer bags from patterns drawn by my own two hands.

In the meantime, I'm a mother of two very smart girls that keep me on my toes and I'm in my final year of college. It all has me too tired to dedicate the time I want to experiment and master the skills needed for my future design plans, but that's ok! One step at a time, and eventually I'll get there. I love my girls. I love my husband. and while life gets to be too much at times, I just keep trudging along!

And taking the stress out by banging a mallet on leather to punch holes is very therapeutic!

James McDonald

Promotions and resource manager.

Personal Statement: Talking with people and building relationships to build networks of connections is what I do. It's easy when you enjoy what you're doing, and even more so when it's for something you believe in. Add in a splash of old-world dress-up, a few acting roles and a belt full of trinkets. What could go wrong? Now I think it's time to go out and have some fun!
